THE REAL WILD CHURCH

"Sometimes it falls upon a generation to be great.
You can be that great generation"

Nelson Mandella

I've wasted a good many years searching for people who see eye2eye with me on just about everything. I now realize that the chances of that happening are zero. So instead I'm looking for people who agree with me on a few fundamental issues and then everything else is up for grabs.

My vision for the Real Wild Church is spectacular. I see a church coming together at least as big as the Hillsong Centre at Baulkham Hills. I see it starting here in Sydney and then expanding to western countries the world over. The reason I think it possible is – guess what – Reason. Probably 20 to 30 percent of Australians have seen through the Christian sham. Not all are atheists, not even agnostics. Some call themselves pagans, witches, skeptics, deists, Druids, Raelians, Luciferions, FreeActionaries, Humanists, Universists, Buddhists, and so on...

All are welcome within the Real Wild Church. It doesn't matter if you believe in tarot cards, magick (with or without a 'k'), UFOs, neocon conspiracies, feds under the bed, the devil, reincarnation, astral travel, ectoplasm, vampires, werewolves, ghosts, fairies, or nothing at all.

Personally I fit into that last category but I'm tired of searching for kindred spirits, especially as I don't believe in spirits. My particular obsession is Global Nuclear War. I'm convinced that unless we wisen up in rapid time, planet Earth is toast. Very few people agree with me and those who do, don't care. And so I've been a lone voice howling at the moon this past thirty years. Very depressing.

Then it suddenly occurred to me that, despite our different ways of looking at life, we nevertheless have certain things in common. And around those commonalities we'll build our church. And what a fun church it will be! Imagine a church based on – not original sin, god's wrath, eternal damnation, blood atonement, fear, dread and misery – but Reason, Compassion and Joie de Vivre!

There are certain key issues that we should agree on. Without them there will be conflict right from the word 'go'. I call them the –

SEVEN KEY PRINCIPLES

1. You have woken up to the fact that Christianity is a fraudulent religion based on myths, folklore and fantasy, fueled by pagan rights and rituals.

2. You realize that so-called "holy" books were written by fallible men all of whom were prone to fantasize, plagiarize, exaggerate, embellish, and even outright lie.

3. You lean towards Evolution rather than Creationism, even if you feel that other factors should be taken into consideration.

4. You are not homophobic or racist because people of all sex and gender persuasions as well as people of all races are welcome within the RWC.

5. You accept the fact – as I have now done – that people within the RWC will have different belief systems to you and they are perfectly within their rights to hold those beliefs.

6. You agree to not force your personal beliefs onto other members of the RWC.

7. You are keen to see the Real Wild Church succeed and prosper, and expand around the world until it becomes an anti-establishment force to be reckoned with.

Some aspects of the RWC to look forward to are – Knighthoods, T shirts with eye-catching slogans, street parades with drums (kids will love it!), torchlight parades (like Lourdes with nary a virgin in sight!) radio broadcasts, YouTube presence, television debates.

For those interested there will be a fund raising effort and handsome commissions paid to helpers. This is entirely optional and voluntary. You need have nothing to do with it if material wealth offends and if you believe all the above can be achieved without money.

For more info go HERE but bear in mind that you don't have to agree with everything you read. You may vehemently disagree with some of the issues I've raised, but just come back to the Seven Key Principles and if you agree with those, join us! Go to the Real Wild Church group, join and we will be in touch.
